Pandit Sri Rama Ramanujacari

Description

Pandit Sri Rama Ramanujacari, better known as Pandit Rami, was born in the South African city of Durban. Pandit Rami studied Vedanta philosophy for a year at the Sivananda Ashram in Rishikesh when he was just 18 years old. He then moved to Swami Sanjayananda's gurukul in Benaras to study Sanskrit and Veda for two years. Satyanarayana Shastri of Tirupati taught him Karma-kanda, Yajna, and Puja vidhi. He has a lot of expertise in performing Hindu marriages for people of different castes and religions. Pandit Rami conducts the wedding ceremony according to Vedic traditions. He ensures that the ceremony flows from one ritual to the next in the proper order. Srimati Sita Padmanabhan educated him with all the theoretical Agama training.
